Family felting workshopThursday 6th August 10.30-12.Entry from 10.15 so we can start promptly at 10.30. Sorry no latecomers.Join us for a wet felting workshop.Using soap, and water and lots of stirring we will turn wool fibres into felted images. This will be a great chance for children to use their hands creatively and spend time outdoors. This workshop is for ages 6+. Siblings are welcome but wont be able to participate but can explore the rest of the site.Rafaela Mincov Campos will be leading this workshop. An artist currently studying at the University of Westminster, Rafa has a passion for crafts and the outdoors and is very excited to work with you all.Places limited and we will ask for a £5 donation per person/child taking part to cover costs.Wild Summer Club – explore and discoverWe have 7 events over the summer including: den building, fruit picking, whittle a magic wand or amulet, felting, weaving, bug hunt and fire making. All events are free unless otherwise stated. Please check the recommended age and book for all coming both adults and children via the What’s On page of our website www.wildcatwilderness.orgAs a charity we welcome everyone to our wild community space (sorry no dogs aside assistance animals). All activities are free but some have a small fee to cover costs. Donations towards our charity really welcome and there will be a cash collection tin on the day or you can scan the QR code whilst on site. Join in with your child/ren and meet other local people and families in our safe, wild space.All children should be accompanied by an adult with up to x5 children per adult. Bring a phone to ring for entry and a packed lunch/ snacks and drinks. Make sure you dress for the outdoors as sessions will take place even if it rains (we generally only cancel if high winds or storms). Check the last entry time, as latecomers won’t be admitted sorry. Places are limited and please only book if you can attend and let us know if you book and then can’t come by emailing wcw@rgtb.org.uk if you don’t turn up and don’t let us know this will affect future bookings with us. Entry from 15mins before start time unless otherwise stated.By booking a place or attending you are giving us consent to take photographs and these might be used for publicity purposes and on social media by our charity.
