Farewell Dr. Brent Adcox

Join us at South Peninsula Hospital as we celebrate Dr. Brent Adcox’s incredible 15-year journey at South Peninsula Orthopedics! 🎈 We’re bidding him farewell before he moves back to the Lower 48 with his family.

Dr. Adcox has a rich history with us, having moved from Texas in 2011 alongside his wife, Sommer, and their two children. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Biology from Texas Tech University and a Doctor of Medicine from University of Texas Medical School. His extensive training includes an orthopedic surgery residency and a spine fellowship, alongside his role here as the primary orthopedic surgeon specializing in:

• Total joint replacements
• Cervical and lumbar spinal disorders
• Sports medicine

Over the years, Dr. Adcox has introduced advancements like the Mako surgical robot in 2023, enhancing patient care and performing over 4,000 surgeries to benefit our community. 💪
