Fauré: Requiem – Islington Choral Society (UK)

A London choir bringing together singers of varying experience. Under the direction of Michael Waldron, the choir performs at a high level and presents a diverse repertoire, including Fauré’s Requiem. The choir will be accompanied by John Cuthbert on the organ, whose playing lends the choir a delicate and authentic sound that harmonizes perfectly with the acoustics of the cathedral.

The Islington Choral Society is an ensemble with a rich history that regularly performs in prestigious London venues such as Cadogan Hall. Under the baton of acclaimed conductor Michael Waldron (a collaborator with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Royal Opera House), the choir will perform alongside talented soloists from prestigious British academies.
