FEELING MATTER: group exhibition at Galleri Box

Join us for FEELING MATTER, a captivating group exhibition hosted by MA1 CRAFT (ceramic art, jewelry art, and textile art) at Galleri Box!

This exhibition explores cycles of transition through the mediums of textiles, ceramics, and jewelry. The materials tell their own stories through transformation, where objects are reimagined and reworked, changing form while preserving their original meanings and memories.

The participating artists engage with intriguing materials such as living bodies of water, scoby, dust, blood, family heirlooms, discarded furniture, and garments.

• Dust transforms into textile ✨
• Blood reworks into glaze 💧
• Furniture morphs into jewelry 💍
• Wardrobes and quilts are deconstructed 🧵

These creations serve to process personal cycles of transformation, preserving and mending what often goes unseen. Jewelry heals internal struggles, textiles create spaces of the imaginary, and weaves express the inexpressible. Meanwhile, ceramic sculptures reflect on nature's fading presence, and tapestries woven around stoneware challenge concepts of violence.

FEELING MATTER poses the question: how can emotions manifest physically? This exhibition brings together an international group of artists, united by a shared curiosity about impermanence.
