🚑 First Aid for Babies & Children — CPR, Choking & More (in English)
Learn how to respond confidently when a baby or child needs emergency help. These practical courses — taught entirely in English — cover life-saving skills and accident prevention for everyday family life. Led by Marianne Mogensen, physiotherapist and certified first aid instructor.

📚 What's Covered
3-Hour & 4-Hour Course (Core Programme)
- 🔑 The 4 fundamental steps of first aid
- 🫁 Assessing consciousness & breathing
- 💓 CPR for babies (0–12 months) and children (1–8 years) — with hands-on practice using specialist Junior & Baby CPR manikins
- 🔄 Recovery position
- ⚡ How to use an AED
- 🍬 Recognising & responding to choking — practiced thoroughly!
- 🦠 Signs of serious infection
- 🤕 Falls, burns & external corrosive injuries
- ☠️ Poisoning & internal corrosive injuries
- 🌡️ Fever cramps and other types of seizures
➕ Extended Programme (4-Hour Course Only)
- 🩸 Moderate bleedings
- 🐝 Bites & stings, including tick removal

- 👶 Babies aged 0–12 months may attend free of charge
- 🤰 Pregnant? Absolutely welcome!
- 🧑🍼 Babysitters & au pairs: contact Marianne in advance to arrange a diploma
- 👫 Couples: Purchase one full-price ticket + one discounted partner ticket. You may attend different sessions on the same day — use the same name when registering so you can take turns with childcare
⚠️ Registration is binding. In the event of instructor illness or official restrictions, the course will be cancelled and you will be offered a new date or a full refund.

👩⚕️ About the Instructor — Marianne Mogensen
Marianne is a physiotherapist, ergonomics teacher and motor skills instructor, certified as a first aid instructor by Dansk Førstehjælpsråd. She is also a former sergeant in the Danish Civil Defense with a firefighter qualification. Marianne is the author of Efter fødsel – Træning & babyleg and Ergonomi – Forflytnings- og arbejdsteknik, and produced the DVD Mavedans for Gravide.
