Join us for an enriching workshop on safe and responsible fishing! 🌊🎉 Our trained experts from the NSW Department of Primary Industries will guide you through:

  • ⚓ Best practices in fishing
  • 📍 Ideal fishing locations
  • 🐟 How to catch and release native fish
  • 🚮 Proper disposal of introduced fish and fishing-related litter

What to Bring:

  • 🎣 Your own fishing gear (rods and reels) - extra gear will be available
  • 💧 Drinking water
  • 🧢 Hat and sun protection
  • 👕 Clothes that can get wet
  • 🍎 Any food you'd like to enjoy

Important: You must hold a Recreational Fishing Licence to participate (mandatory for all fishing in NSW). A three-day licence is available for just $7 through Service NSW. Be ready to confirm that you have your licence verbally before the event.

Age Requirement:

  • 🧒 Age limit: 12 and up.
  • 📝 Participants aged 12-18 need parental or guardian permission.

This exciting learning experience is totally FREE to attend, but make sure you have your licence! Don't miss out on a day of fun and learning!
