FREE Public Speaking workshop @ VEGAPARKEN 2-4PM

1️⃣ HOW DOES THIS WORK?
Every Sunday, dive into a Public Speaking skill associated with your VOICE, BODY, or MIND! We explore a plethora of topics like Storytelling, Persuasion, Vocal Tone, and Improv Theater, with a unique focus each week led by different facilitators.

A typical session is divided into two engaging parts: the first hour is dedicated to “The Workshop” filled with exercises, while the second hour is “Stage Time,” where you can share individual speeches, participate in debates, engage in improvised group scenes, or tell captivating stories in front of the audience.

Our club emphasizes mastering the tools, techniques, and best practices for delivering impactful messages, steering clear of politics and divisive topics to ensure a respectful and inclusive atmosphere for everyone to enhance their speaking skills. 💬

Founded in the summer of 2016, our workshops are conducted in English.

3️⃣ WHEN & WHERE?
This week's meeting is at Vegaparken, Drottninggatan 95B, 113 60 Stockholm, on Sundays from 14:00 to 16:00.
Make sure to arrive on time, as warm-ups and exercises commence promptly at 14:00! ⏰

4️⃣ DOES IT COST ANYTHING?
Our summer workshops are completely free, thanks to our dedicated volunteer instructors and outdoor setting. However, starting in September, we will transition indoors at Folkuniversitet and will require a small semester fee to maintain the fun and cover our Meetup-App subscription and venue costs. The fee is revised in September and January.
