Featuring Sam Gill (saxophones), Alister Spence (piano & preparations), and Peter Nilsson (drums & percussion), this trio embarks on their second public performance. Since Nilsson's move to Sydney in 2025, the group has been honing a unique musical language through various collaborations, shifting seamlessly between lyricism, complex textures, and rhythmic dynamics. Their highly responsive approach creates a vibrant dialogue uniquely shaped by each musician's distinct voice.

This group brings together Gabriella Hill (tenor saxophone), Louis Wishart (trumpet), Henry Hall (double bass), and Daniel Raymond (drums). Presenting original compositions that meld with collective improvisation, their work honors musical traditions while allowing for flexibility and transformation through live interaction. Discover the rich interplay of tenor and trumpet, as Hall and Raymond navigate between conventional and exploratory rhythmic landscapes. This performance marks their third collaboration, deepening their investigation of structure, freedom, and ensemble dynamics.
