Welcome to the Gotland Game Conference 2026! 🌟 Join us as we showcase around 50 innovative and exciting games developed by our talented students, all available for play at the Donners Event Hall in Visby. The event is free to the public on the 9th and 10th of June!

Professionals from all corners of the game industry will gather to deliver insightful talks on a variety of industry-related topics, exclusively for Conference Pass Holders. 🎤✨

A grand closing ceremony will take place on the evening of Wednesday, June 10th at St. Nicolai Ruin, featuring awards for outstanding games chosen by our jury, followed by a fantastic after-party at Frimis! 🎉🍾

About Us:
Each year, the Department of Game Design at Uppsala University hosts this conference to celebrate and share the incredible work of our students. Participants submit games made during their coursework or personal projects, which are judged by a panel of industry professionals. This conference also serves as an excellent networking opportunity for game industry experts, featuring discussions and business pitches from our students hosted by Science Park Gotland.

The Uppsala University Department of Game Design offers bachelor and master-level programs covering all aspects of game design, including programming, art, writing, motion capture, and more.
