Justin Cherry, a celebrated historical baker and professional chef, brings the rich flavors of the American Revolution to life using traditional baking methods. Having honed his skills through his passion for 18th-century foodways, Justin will showcase period-correct breads and dishes made from heritage and landrace grains. 🌾

His accomplishments include:

• Receiving a research fellowship at George Washington’s Mount Vernon in 2019 as their Resident Baker.
• Being the first American to earn the title of Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Bakers in London.
• Traveling across the East Coast with a custom-built 6,000-pound mobile clay oven to educate the public on historic baking practices.

Alongside the baking demonstrations, you can explore the General Edward Hand Mansion and the John J. Snyder, Jr. Gallery through self-guided tours. 🏛️
