Join us for today’s captivating Hanover Square Lunchtime Concert featuring the talented pianist Jeremy Chan! He will perform Beethoven's Piano Sonata No.29 in B flat major 'Hammerklavier'.

Jeremy is an award-winning concert pianist based in London, holding an Artist Diploma and a Masters degree with Concert Recital Diploma from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He has also earned a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Durham University.
In recent years (2023 and 2024), Jeremy has achieved remarkable milestones, winning both the Guildhall Beethoven Prize and the Guildhall Romantic Prize, along with a second prize at the Tunbridge Wells International Music Competition. Notably, he made his concerto debut at St John’s Smith Square with the London City Orchestra playing Rachmaninov’s Second Piano Concerto!
Throughout his career, Jeremy has dazzled audiences at prestigious venues such as Kings Place, Steinway Hall London, and Milton Court Concert Hall. His performances have brought him invaluable insights from world-renowned musicians including Dame Imogen Cooper and Sir Stephen Hough.
Also, Jeremy is a passionate chamber musician, currently part of the Wayfarer Trio alongside cellist William Lui and clarinettist Kosuke Shirai.
In addition to performing, Jeremy shares his musical insights as a writer on classical music through his popular Substack newsletter, On Music & Making, featuring concert reviews and collaborations with leading musical figures.
