Healthy Kids Storytime

Join us for a special summer storytime program designed for children aged 3-8! 📚✨ Explore important health and safety topics through engaging picture books, fun crafts, and lively discussions. This initiative is a collaboration between Clearwater Library, Suncoast Center, Clearwater Police Department, and Baycare Kids, aiming to make learning enjoyable for our youngest adventurers!

• Week 1: Social and Emotional Skills 🧠 (June 3)

  • An interactive session focusing on children's social and emotional health presented by the Suncoast Center.

• Week 2: "Josh the Otter" 🌊 (Water Safety) (June 10)

  • Presented by Baycare Kids.

• Week 3: "Police Storytime" 🚓 (Safety) (June 17)

  • Hosted by Clearwater Library and the Clearwater Police Department.

• Week 4: "I Can Eat a Rainbow" 🍏🌈 (Nutrition and Food Choices) (June 24)

  • Presented by Baycare Kids.

• Week 5: Social and Emotional Skills 🧠 (July 1)

  • Another interactive session with the Suncoast Center.

• Week 6: Hurricane Safety for Kids & Families 🌪️ (July 8)

  • Presented by Clearwater Emergency Management.

• Week 7: "Teddy Bear Clinic" 🧸 (Going to the Doctor/Handwashing Skills) (July 15)

  • Presented by Baycare Kids.

• Week 8: "Dental Health" 🦷 (July 22)

  • Led by Dr. Maggie Davis's Dental Office.
