Hiking: Milford to Haslemere Walk - Sat 11 Apr 2026

🌄 Join us for a full-day countryside adventure! 🌲

Set out on a stunning point-to-point hike from Milford to Haslemere in beautiful Surrey! This trek takes you across sandy commons, serene pine woodlands, and expansive heathlands.

🗓 Event Details:

• Date: 11 April 2026
• Meeting Point: London Waterloo Station at 8:15 AM
• Train Arrival: Milford (Surrey) Station at 9:38 AM
• Start Location: Outside the entrance of Milford Station
• Finish: Haslemere Station
• Return Trip: Train back from Haslemere to London Waterloo

Tip: Arrive 10 minutes early and have your rail ticket ready as we finish at a different station!

🚶‍♀️ Hike Details:

• Distance: 19.1 km (11.9 miles)
• Difficulty: Intermediate (6/10)
• Walking Time: Approximately 5 hours 15 minutes (including breaks)
• Total Duration: Allow 8–9 hours for the entire day, including transport and stops
• Terrain: Sandy paths, woodland trails, heathland tracks, with a few short road sections at the start

💲 Ticket Information:

• Members: Free
• Non-members: £12
• Optional Group Transport: Additional £25

If you opt for group transport, we travel together to and from the same station. Solo travelers should purchase their own ticket in advance if returning separately.

🏞 What to Bring:

• Comfortable walking footwear (boots recommended)
• Waterproof jacket and trousers
• Minimum 1 litre of water (2 litres is ideal)
• Lunch for the picnic stop
• Some money for a post-hike pub stop (optional)
• Dogs are welcome, but please keep them on a lead at all times! 🐶
