How does language shape how we think?
Language is a complex tool that we use for more than just communication. It is the means through which we express ourselves and relate to world around us.

Join us this week as we discuss questions like:

Does the language you speak influence how you experience time, emotions, or identity? Can learning a new language open up new ways of thinking?

  • Are there ideas that exist in one language but not in another?

This week at IQ Cafe, our speaker will introduce different perspectives on language and thought, and share their own reflections.

After a short talk, we’ll break into small discussion groups where you’re invited to explore your own experiences and ideas in a relaxed, open, and respectful environment.

Come share your ideas, hear different perspectives, and enjoy meaningful conversation. Everyone is welcome!

🕒 Schedule:
8:00-8:20 - Listen to a bilingual lecture on the night's topic while enjoying snacks and coffee
8:20-9:00 - Discussion in small groups
Afterwards - Stick around and hang out with new friends!

If you have trouble, please call 080-3350-9413.
