Join us for a vibrant night of funk and celebration with Ida Nielsen & The Funkbots! Ever since Ida was invited to jam with the legendary Prince in 2010, she has been a key player in the funk scene, holding down the bass for him until his untimely passing. Her time with Prince was described by Ida as "a huge gift" and "the most magical musical journey ever, and an ongoing learning experience beyond all imagination."

As a member of The New Power Generation, Ida embarked on an incredible world tour, participating in countless TV appearances and sold-out concerts. She also contributed to the history of the funk genre as part of 3rdeyegirl.

In August 2016, Ida released her third solo album, Turnitup, showcasing her multi-instrumental talents. Her single “SHOWMEWHATUGOT” received the distinctive honor of being selected by Prince as the "Purple pick of the week" on TIDAL. The music blends old school funk with hip hop, reggae, and world music, offering ear-catching melodies and a diverse range of vibes. Expect a high-energy show filled with good vibes and tight grooves!

Notably, in the 2019 Music Radar poll, Ida Nielsen was recognized as one of the top 10 bass players in the world, alongside greats like Stanley Clarke and Victor Wooten.
