Join us for a unique Amazonian "mini festival" celebrating the rich heritage of the Indigenous Tukano People of Brazil and Colombia. We’re thrilled to host Chief Álvaro Tukano, also known as Doéthiro, a respected elder and leader from the Amazon, renowned as a pioneer in the Indigenous rights movement across Latin America. 📚🎥

With years of experience, Chief Álvaro has mentored countless Indigenous leaders globally and played a crucial role in advancing Indigenous rights both in Brazil and at the UN.

His teachings will address some pressing questions:

• How can we appreciate Indigenous traditions without tokenization?
• What are our responsibilities in working with traditional medicines?
• What are the risks involved for those from Western cultures interacting with Indigenous traditions?
