Intro to Latin Dance

Intro to Latin DancesJoin us in Rutland, VT on Friday nights for Afro-Latin Dancing! $20 for 2 hours of class instruction and dancing, 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Wear comfortable shoes and attire. No partner or experience required. Bring friends and water!Each week, we will touch on a variety of Latin Dances, helping to build your knowledge and confidence on the dance floor. Class will focus on getting you ready for your next vacation or for dancing socially within Vermont's vibrant Latin Dance community. We'll help you build a strong foundation of body movement and connection that will support you in any dance style.We start class with a good warm-up. Next we'll increase your musicality knowledge and skills for social dancing.Then we'll have an hour of class instruction in one of the many latin dances.Lastly, we'll end with a rueda! If you don't know what that is, come and we'll get you started.Come for the dance, stay for the amazing community of people from across Vermont.
