Jazz at the Tasting Room featuring Brian Monroney

Join us for an enchanting night of jazz in the heart of Pike Place Market! 🎉✨ On this special evening, we are thrilled to feature the talented guitarist Brian Monroney. With over 30 years of experience as a session musician and sideman, Brian has collaborated with a stellar lineup of artists, including Gloria Estefan, Natalie Cole, Barry Manilow, and Tom Jones, with whom he toured as guitarist and Musical Director for nearly 18 years.

In addition to his performing career, Brian excels as an arranger, music copyist, and guitar instructor. Residing in Tacoma, he has also graced the stage with renowned PNW artists and bands such as Lee Oskar, Nearly Dan, Greta Matassa, and Teatro ZinZanni. 🎶🎸

Hosts Clif & Nelda Swiggett will accompany Brian for the evening. This talented duo, united in life and music since 1987, comprises of:

• Nelda, an award-winning composer and OA2 recording artist, celebrated for her performances at Northwest’s premier jazz venues.
• Clif, a seasoned trombonist who began his jazz journey in New York, formerly toured with the Glen Miller Orchestra and has shared the spotlight with jazz legends like Bill Watrous and Dizzy Gillespie. Since relocating to Seattle in 1985, he has been an integral part of the local jazz, funk, and salsa scene. 🎺
