Jazzová sekce 1971–1988 – vernisáž výstavy
À propos de l'événement
The exhibition is a unique historical account of the work and struggles of a group of free-thinking, culture-loving people—the activists of the Jazz Section—who were forced by the state authorities of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic into the role of a cultural opposition. Among other things, the exhibition explores the struggle for an independent culture against the totalitarian regime of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic at that time.
As part of the exhibition, there will be a discussion with Tomáš Křivánek, a member of the Jazz Section committee, and graphic designer Ivan Prokop.
