Jitka Sara Páníková: Slip Grip

À propos de l'événement

The choreography by Jitka Sara Páníková and composer Natálie Pleváková is a ride on the edge. Literally.

A performer laces up roller skates she doesn’t know how to use. Her body, trained for perfect control, suddenly finds itself on unfamiliar ground. It wobbles. It reacts. It questions what it thinks it knows. What happens when, instead of showing off precision, you let your quirks take the stage? When the ride begins exactly where certainty fades away?

On stage, fragility meets determination. It’s not about falling, but trusting in the unknown—letting go of control and seeing what happens next. For introverts in a world that never stops talking, for anyone who’s ever felt out of sync but still danced their way through.

And if anybody’s looking for a guide on how to glide gracefully — Slip Grip has no advice. Just the ride. Unpredictable, untamed — and maybe that’s what makes it truly freeing.

“What if the moment we lose control is the moment we finally start to move?”
