Join us for an extraordinary celebration as Jody Sperling and Time Lapse Dance present Shapes of Change in honor of the incredible Gail Merrifield Papp, a pivotal figure in the theatrical world. This special program commemorates the 25th anniversary of Time Lapse Dance and will take place at the historic New York Society for Ethical Culture, Adler Hall.
✨ Performance Highlights:
Experience two unique performances featuring a world premiere and celebrated repertory favorites. The first performance, Sea Change, is a poetic exploration of our relationship with water amidst rising sea levels, performed by six exceptional dancers. This artistic endeavor continues the decade-long collaboration between Jody Sperling and Emmy Award-winning composer Matthew Burtner, who will also perform live alongside The New Consort vocal ensemble, adding a hauntingly beautiful soundscape.
