Komentovaný sprievod výstavy Byť prírodou s Gabrielou Garlatyovou
A guided tour with commentary of Marie Bartuszová’s solo exhibition – Being Nature – led by curator and art historian Gabriela Garlatyová. 🌿
The exhibition highlights key tactile puzzles made from plaster, aluminum, and bronze, designed for interaction and assembly. It showcases Bartuszová as a sculptor who has created works for public spaces in eastern Slovakia, including Košice, Rožňava, Revúca, Tatranská Lomnica, and Vyšné Ružbachy.
These tactile puzzles were developed during pioneering workshops in Slovakia for visually impaired children from the Primary School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Levoča in 1976 and 1983, organized and documented by Gabriel Kladek. The exhibition delves into the performative perception of art through these workshop activities, reflecting Bartuszová’s aim to create art that connects with everyday life. 🎨
