✨ About the Album: Kormós, meaning 'tree trunk' in Greek, brings together eight composed pieces and one free improvisation, each inspired by different trees and their rich mythology and folklore.

🌍 This diverse group of musicians blends traditional Greek music, Eastern Mediterranean influences, and Persian musical traditions with elements of gypsy jazz and classical structures. The music seamlessly combines various cultural backgrounds, crafting a unique auditory experience!

• Thodoris Ziarkas – Greek double bassist
• Kudsi Erguner – Renowned ney master and UNESCO Artist for Peace
• Andreas Polyzogopoulos – Prominent figure in the international jazz scene on trumpet
