Dr. Veronica Cassone McGowan is a prominent ecologist and learning scientist. She directs the UW Bothell Collaborative for Socio-Ecological Engagement at the Environmental Education and Research Center in St. Edward State Park, while also serving as a senior research scientist at the Goodlad Institute for Educational Renewal.
Her research focuses on integrating science with socio-ecological systems, emphasizing decision-making patterns that promote thriving communities for all. Additionally, her work aims to incorporate racial justice and gender equity in STEM education across diverse learning environments.
