Liver Run 5K

Join us for the Liver Run 5K, a meaningful event dedicated to raising awareness for liver disease and the vital importance of organ donation.

In 2008, at only 9 years old, Jon was diagnosed with Primary Sclerosis Cholangitis (PSC), knowing a liver transplant was inevitable. His journey led him to find strength in athletics, particularly in running. While competing at Goldey-Beacom College, Jon's love for running grew deeper, but as his health deteriorated, he faced a life-saving liver transplant in 2020. Thankfully, his older brother David stepped up as a living donor, allowing both of them to make a full recovery. Today, Jon is back on track, continuing to advocate for organ donation.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Chris Klug Foundation, which educates individuals on the significance of organ, eye, and tissue donation.
