Join us for our Maker Basics: Soldering & Electronics session, designed for those eager to dive into the world of electronics! Whether you're looking to repair electronic devices, embark on your own hobby projects, or harness the power of microcontrollers like Arduino, this hands-on workshop will equip you with essential skills.

In just two hours, explore:

• 🛠️ How to solder confidently using through-hole and surface-mount techniques
• 🚀 An overview of electronic components and their usage
• ⚙️ Practical use of tools like multimeters, breadboards, and bench power supplies
• 🔧 Introduction to microcontrollers and mini-computers (Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi Pico, or Raspberry Pi 5)

⚠️ This workshop focuses on basic tools and techniques. Our goal is to familiarize you with the tools, so you can confidently return and apply your newfound knowledge independently. Note that you will not complete a personal project during this session.
⚠️ Safety First! Some of the machinery at FabLab may be hazardous, so all participants must sign a liability waiver prior to attendance.

About FabLab Neukölln:
FabLab Neukölln is a collaborative effort between 42berlin and workish.berlin, serving as a vibrant maker space, creative workshop, and hardware lab in Neukölln. Our expansive 150sqm facility features two distinct areas: a dirt lab for woodworking and metalworking, perfect for making noise and dust, and a clean lab equipped with a 3D printer, laser cutter, and textiles for more delicate projects.
