Meet the Curator and the Artist: Aalto Design

Join us for an insightful event featuring the curator of the Aalto Design – Shapes of Wellbeing exhibition, Jutta Tynkkynen, alongside artist Ilona Sagar! 🎨

The evening will commence with a brief introduction by Carson Chan, the Chief Curator and Director of Curatorial Affairs at the Architecture and Design Museum. Following this, Jutta will elaborate on the exhibition's themes and background. Ilona will also have a discussion with Jutta about her artistic journey and the concepts behind her work.

About Ilona Sagar:
Ilona is a London-based artist whose multidisciplinary work—including moving image, text, performance, and assemblage—examines the intersections of language, technology, surfaces, and the body within our social and political contexts. Her piece Other Actors (2025) is part of the exhibition.
