Join a unique adventure along South Africa’s breathtaking southern coastline at the Merrell Whale of Trail! 🏞️ Each winter, during the heart of whale season, a select group of runners embarks on an exhilarating journey through the De Hoop Nature Reserve.

🌊 Experience the majestic fynbos ridges, coastal cliffs, wild beaches, and serene dune paths, as you traverse some of the most stunning stretches of coastline in the country.

This isn’t just a race; it’s an intimate gathering shaped by the wild landscape itself. With limited entries, participants can fully immerse themselves in the beauty and serenity of the land, listening to the whispers of the ocean below and witnessing the whales passing by. 🐳

Race Options:

• Whale of Trail (Single Day): Complete the full 55 km Whale Trail in one day, or opt for a shorter 35 km coastal route that captures the same wild essence.
• Whale of Trail Journey (Two Day): Traverse the same stunning route over two days, including an overnight stay along the coast.
