Model and Miniature Railway Weekend!

Join us for a special weekend at the Newport Railway Museum as we celebrate the running of the Altona Miniature Railway! 🌟 Our model railway room will be open to visitors on both days, showcasing a stunning new HO-scale layout that beautifully complements our original 1950s era O Scale Victorian Railways models. 🤩

📅 Many visitors from the Newport Workshops Open Days in March have already seen this layout in action, and since then, we've been making exciting improvements!

🚸 The model room will be open on both Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 July. For the ultimate railway experience, make sure to visit both the Newport Railway Museum AND the Altona Miniature Railway on Sunday 19 July!

🚉 Altona Miniature Railway operates from 10 AM to 3 PM, while we’re open from 12 noon to 5 PM, giving you plenty of time to enjoy both attractions!

🎟️ You can secure your tickets to the museum by booking online through Trybooking or simply buying them at our counter upon arrival. Tickets for Altona Miniature Railway can be purchased at their gate when they open.
