Nedělní dixie: Champagne Lovers Band

The Champagne Lovers Band will perform as part of the regular Sunday Dixie series at the Jazz Dock.

Champagne Lovers Band The band was formed in 2016 as a street jazz quintet. At first it played on the Old Town Square and later on the Charles Bridge. Its repertoire includes mainly the usual and lesser-known sung Dixieland and swing standards. The Champagne Lovers Band most often (and preferably) plays acoustically without a sound system or with only a minimal sound system for singing, thus making the most of the dynamics of the instruments and the improvisational skills of its players. The band plays an instrumentation of trumpet, clarinet, guitar, waltz (or drums), double bass and vocals.
