À propos de l'événement

Description:
Since 2022, CDR buyers clubs have done what the durable CDR market could not do on its own: turn fragmented interest into real demand. They helped give early projects the confidence to move ahead, established clearer standards for credible purchasing, enabled peer learning across organisations, and made it easier for new buyers to enter a complex, hard-to-navigate market.
But in 2026, the market still depends on too few companies. Durable CDR buyers remain a small fraction of the companies with climate commitments. If that does not change, demand stays constrained, projects slow, and market momentum weakens.
This invite-only lunch-break event is about the next step. We invite buyers and financiers to learn what buyer clubs have made possible, what still keeps prospective buyers on the sidelines, and what it will take to bring a much broader set of companies into durable CDR.

Speakers:
Hannah Bebbington Valori, Head of Deployment at Frontier
Matthew Le Floq, Managing Director at NextGen CDR / Michael Weber, Senior Director CDR at South Pole
Yuta Inada - Global Head of Tech-based Credit & Coalition Strategy at Mitsubishi Corporation (representing the ARC Coalition)
Lucia Causey-Hugecova, Deputy Carbon Removals Policy at DG CLIMA, EU Commission (representing the EU CRCF Buyers Club)
Agenda:
A networking lunch reception over hot and cold bites (12:00-12:45)
An engaging panel discussion with leading CDR buyers and representatives of buyers clubs (12:45-13:30)
The opportunity to ask questions to our panel (13:30-13:50)
