Noche de los Lobos (Cool Summer Nights)

Join us for a magical evening celebrating the magnificent Mexican Gray Wolf at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum! 🌌 After nearly vanishing in the 1980s, these wolves have made a remarkable recovery thanks to binational efforts between the U.S. and Mexico. Meet our own wolves—Sol, Luna, and Estrella—and learn about their vital role as a keystone species and ongoing conservation efforts to restore them to the wild.

Tonight's Exciting Schedule:

• 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.: Art Scavenger Hunt
• Live Music on the Ironwood Patio (6:30 - 8:30 p.m.): Enjoy the captivating sounds of the Tucson Masterworks Chorale. They aim to share the beauty of choral literature across generations and encourage cultural participation.
• Throughout the Night: Look for Museum Docents around the grounds interpreting live animals, celestial desert skies, fluorescent minerals, and more! 🌟
• 6:00 - 9:30 p.m.: Stingray Touch Exhibit
  • Admission: $2 Members / $4 Non-Members
  • Get up close with cow nose stingrays in this hands-on experience! 🐟
• 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.: Packrat Playhouse
  • An indoor play space for kids to explore and discover the desert like a packrat! 30-minute reserved play times available.
• Art Exhibits (6:00 - 9:00 p.m.): Don't miss 'Baldwin in the Baldwin,' featuring a permanent collection that highlights Sonoran biodiversity and encourages conservation! Also, check out 'Sonoran Treasures' in the Ironwood Gallery, showcasing the dynamic relationship between plants, animals, and geology in the Southwest.

About Cool Summer Nights:

Every Saturday night during June-August, the Museum is open until 10:00 p.m. Experience the desert come alive after dark, with nocturnal animals, special activities, and educational encounters. Grab a flashlight, enjoy a cool drink, and explore!
