Oil Painting Class - Still Life

Calling all aspiring painters! Welcome to Artskool, a curated oil painting class hosted at the artists residence in the equestrian district of Burbank.

🎨 In this 3 hour oil painting class we'll be painting a still life. We'll go over the materials, how to build up the painting in layers, and color mixing. You'll also receive individual feedback and will be able to see a live demo of the process as well. I'll walk you through every step of the way!
👩🏽‍🎨 You'll learn the techniques of the Renaissance Masters as we create our very own masterpieces in the style of traditional realism. This is a great way to learn how to use oil paints and can serve as a jumping off point to develop your own unique style.
🖼️ By the end of our time together you'll have a beautiful painting to take home with you!
🖌️ No experience necessary, all supplies are provided (including aprons!)

Location
This is a private residence nestled in the equestrian neighborhood of Burbank. Plenty of street parking. Please enter through the brown gate which will be open 10 minutes before our start time.

About your instructor
Tanya has been working in film and advertising as an illustrator and storyboard artist for over 10 years. She studied oil painting at various studios in LA and Florence, Italy. Her goal is to share her love of painting with anyone who’s willing to try.
