Oui Design! by Villa Albertine – A Celebration of French Craft and Design

✨ OUI DESIGN! FESTIVAL returns as a prominent transatlantic platform celebrating the finest in French Craft and Design as part of NYCXDESIGN. This exciting fourth edition is presented by VILLA ALBERTINE and showcases a vibrant lineup of activities including exhibitions, open studios, panel discussions, and unique events throughout New York City.

🏛️ At the center of the festival lies a major week-long exhibition at the prestigious Payne Whitney Mansion, featuring the incredible work of design and craft residency laureates as well as former residents—many of whom are showcasing their creations in the United States for the first time!

🌟 Participating talents include the likes of Lily Alcaraz & Léa Berlier, Atelier Monier, Yassine Ben Abdallah, Nicolas Pinon, Céline Salomon, Sophia Taillet, Juliette Tellier, Frantz Wehrlé, and Xolo Cuintle. The exhibition is beautifully brought to life through an immersive scenography by Harry Nuriev of Crosby Studios, who expertly merges craft, design, and contemporary culture.

🌱 This year also marks the fifth anniversary of VILLA ALBERTINE’s Design & Craft Residency Program, emphasizing the institution’s dedication to nurturing artistic exchange and supporting the upcoming generation of designers and artisans.

🤝 Created in collaboration with notable partners such as the Fondation Bettencourt Schueller and Manufactures Nationales – Sèvres & Mobilier National, Oui Design! aims to enhance the global visibility and significance of French craftsmanship.
