À propos de l'événement

The Henry Royce Institute (Royce), the UK’s national body for advanced materials, invites you to a parliamentary drop-in briefing: Unlocking Growth through Materials Innovation.
Join us on Tuesday 2 June in Room O of Portcullis House to learn how we’re supporting materials innovation and to collect a Materials Map for your region.
Sponsored by Dr Allison Gardner MP, this briefing will explore the strategic importance of advanced materials to the UK and marks the launch of the first UK Materials Map.
Join us to learn more about the National Materials Innovation Strategy - a roadmap to drive economic growth through advanced materials. You will also have the opportunity to explore the Materials Map, highlighting the UK’s industrial strengths and some of the businesses leading the sector.
With a £45 billion economic contribution and a workforce of over 635,000, the materials sector is a cornerstone of British innovation and a primary driver of growth. We look forward to welcoming you to this briefing and hearing about what more we can do together to support the sector’s future.
Refreshments will be served and guests are welcome to attend at any time during the drop-in window. We would be grateful if you could let us know your likely arrival time in advance. Those coming from outside Parliament will be able to access the room after passing through Portcullis House security.
