Pavel Wlosok Quartet

The unique sound of the Pavel Wlosok Quartet is an intoxicating blend of jazz traditions including swing, modal, and Latin jazz, along with influences of contemporary twentieth-century music, World music, and Czech folk music. Most of the repertoire is based on original compositions, exciting new arrangements of jazz standards, as well as personal takes on traditional styles of modern jazz ranging from the pre-swing era, through swing, be-bop and cool, to modal and beyond.
