Join the talented award-winning illustrator David Elmo Cooper for an exciting and interactive children's book workshop! This engaging session will give you a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the illustrations for his latest book, Greta Green Builds a Submarine, written by Sue Fliess.
In this delightful story, Greta Green has a passion for the ocean and spends her time cleaning the shoreline with her loyal bird and hermit crab. But her dreams of exploring the underwater world come true when she decides to build her very own submarine alongside her friends!
🎨 What to Expect:
- A captivating reading of Greta Green Builds a Submarine
- A fun “Blueprinting” drawing challenge where participants will design their very own ocean clean-up device using Greta’s Invention Journal and Submarine Checklist!
All art materials will be provided, along with a signed copy of the book! This workshop is perfect for picture book fans aged 5 and up.
