Join us for an amazing Canada Day celebration at Rocky Point Park! Immerse yourself in an afternoon filled with live music and family-friendly activities.

🎶 Live Music Schedule:

  • 12:00 PM: Enjoy high-energy rock-pop music for kids by Will Stroet of Will's Jams!
  • 12:50 PM: Experience Indigenous Drumming, Singing, and Dancing with Johnny Williams and Family, featuring a welcome from Kwikwetlem First Nation Elder Xem-Tu-Mus (Stephen Armstrong).
  • 1:15 PM: Sing along to O Canada during our official ceremony hosted by the Port Moody City Council.
  • 1:45 PM: Don’t miss Zaya Philip, a past winner of Tri-Cities Got Talent!
  • 2:30 PM: Listen to Michaela Slinger, a talented recording artist from Port Moody.
  • 3:45 PM: Dance along with The Boom Booms, as they bring tropical rock vibes!

🏛 Family-Friendly Activities:

  • Snap pics at our selfie station!
  • Join in on Play in Our Parks activities, lawn games, and more!
  • Get your face painted and enjoy temporary tattoos.
  • Indulge in cookies and juice boxes starting at 1:45 PM, while supplies last!
  • Try out our fun carnival-style inflatables.
  • Engage in art activities led by Cydney Eva and PoMoArts!
  • Discover heritage toys with the POMO Museum; coloring sheets for kids included!

🍽 Food & Drink:

Feel free to bring your own picnic! Four food trucks will be available with delicious options for purchase:

  • Kona Ice
  • Alohaaa
  • Taps and Tacos
  • Sip and Social

🌞 Weather Preparedness:

Dress appropriately as the event will proceed rain or shine. Don’t forget to wear hats, apply sunscreen, and stay hydrated!

🚗 Parking & Transportation:

Parking will be limited. Consider using public transport. Pay parking is available but check for details on the Shoreline Shuttle service at portmoody.ca/shuttle.

🚫 Important Rules:

  • Keep dogs leashed and control them at all times.
  • Barbecues and tents are not allowed.
  • No smoking on park premises.
