🌟 About Rear Admiral Daniel R. May:
A proud 1979 graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Admiral May is a recipient of the Distinguished Service Medal and numerous accolades. He has played instrumental roles in significant lighthouse projects, including:

  • The relocation of Block Island Southeast Light in Rhode Island, the first-ever move of a major U.S. lighthouse
  • The relocation of Highland Light on Cape Cod
  • The design and construction of a revetment to protect Montauk Light on Long Island, NY
