RoundUP to Support the Congaree Riverkeeper at Mast Store Columbia

In July, each Mast General Store’s staff chooses a local nonprofit partner that makes its community a better place to live. Staff members chose organizations that are important to them and that contribute to their home communities as a whole by providing a vital service, protecting natural resources and wildlife, open doors for learning, and embrace culture.The Congaree Riverkeeper provides a vital service protecting water quality, wildlife habitat, and recreation on the Broad, Lower Saluda, and Congaree Rivers. These rivers provide drinking water as well as places to play. The Riverkeeper regularly tests the water quality, fields reports from citizens, and holds polluters accountable to keep these waterways healthy.
