About the Artists:

Zaheer Abbas is a skilled tabla player based in Toronto, known for bridging traditional tabla rhythms with contemporary artistic expressions. With extensive training from notable maestros and performances across Canada and beyond, including an international tour with the acclaimed production of ‘Mahabharata,’ Zaheer brings passion and innovation to his craft.

Neha Mahajan, a distinguished Sitarist from the Beenkar Gharana, began her musical journey under the guidance of her father, Shri Vidur Mahajan, and has further refined her skills with Ustad Zunain Khan, a master of the Jafferkhani Sitar Style. Recently recognized with the Young Sitarist Award by Ganvardhan in Pune, India, Neha has collaborated with a diverse range of musicians and contributed to Ricky Martin’s Latin Grammy-winning album Pausa alongside artists like Sting and Bad Bunny. 🎵🌍
