Salsa by the Water

Salsa by the Water gives Brooklyn dancers a free outdoor midweek option with a waterfront setting, a beginner-friendly lesson, and live music. The series is now in its sixth season, making it a familiar summer-style gathering at Domino Square.

The evening starts with a free salsa lesson at 6:15 PM in collaboration with Nieves Dance Studio and instructor Wil Nieves. Live music begins at 7:15 PM, so attendees can use the lesson as a warm-up before dancing in the plaza.

The series runs every other Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Domino Square in Domino Park. Admission is free, parking is available at 325 Kent Avenue, and transit options include nearby subway, bus, NYC Ferry, and Williamsburg waterfront access.
