Save A Life Day 2026

À propos de l'événement

What is Save A Life Day?

Save A Life Day is a nationwide initiative dedicated to promoting widespread access to naloxone as a vital response to the overdose crisis. On the fourth Thursday of September each year, communities across the U.S. set up tables, provide training, and give away free naloxone.

This impactful event has evolved from a small pilot program in West Virginia to become the largest annual day of free naloxone distribution in the country. In 2025, communities distributed around 133,000 doses in just one day!

📍 Location: Back fenced lot of the PMR Building - 939 S Ridgewood Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32114-5338, United States

At this location, we will have VRA providing Risk Reduction tools, including Naloxone and Fentanyl Test Strips, along with hygiene items, recovery literature, and peer services. Partnering for this event is Halifax Urban Ministries, who will be offering take-away meals, PMR providing a food pantry and hot lunch, Angel Anna's Clothes Closet, and Sirius Healthcare with free Hep/HIV/STI testing.
