Join us for a unique event that combines film screenings with insightful discussion! On 8 August, Galleri Image presents a captivating screening of Elisabeth Brun’s work, followed by a conversation with Vanina Saracino.

What to Expect

Exploration of Place: How does technology influence our perception of place? Brun’s moving image works examine this intricate relationship, inviting you to think deeply about our environments.
Screening Highlights:

  • 3xShapes of Home (7', 2020): A poetic reflection on childhood and environment in sub-Arctic Norway.
  • Big Tech Blues (20', 2025): A personal narrative exploring the impact of Big Tech on communities, set against the backdrop of Brun’s hometown.
  • How Mountains are Made (WIP): Thought-provoking insights on human and geological time.
    Engaging Conversation: Following the screenings, join Brun and Saracino as they discuss the role of the camera in shaping spatial knowledge and worldbuilding.

About the Artists

Elisabeth Brun is a filmmaker and researcher whose works have been showcased globally. Currently based in Oslo, she investigates the connections between place, technology, and knowledge.
Vanina Saracino is an independent curator and lecturer dedicated to exploring environmental and multispecies perspectives.
