Side Defects presents MPU101 (Live) — AV Show & Custom Sound

Side Defects returns with a substantial, wholesome night from beginning to end. Featuring one of the most intriguing and extraordinary ambient producers of the last decade: MPU101, acclaimed for his odd, dreamlike, warm analog sound. A steady name on Ilian Tape's catalog, his releases explore every corner of melancholic euphoria, for all the nostalgic and dreamy minds of Berlin who are fond of hazy synth excursions.

Known for his rare live appearances and a deeply personal approach to performance, MPU101 will present new and unreleased material, a rare and memorable encounter with sound.

Next to MPU101, Kaltwasser TV presents a unique visual show, blending sound and atmosphere with modular video synthesis and the experimental metamorphosis of analog signals.

The opening of the night will be in the hands of Belladonna of Sadness, an enthusiast of the swirl, guiding our senses through textural landscapes and deep abstract fantasy.

After the two concerts, we embark on the dancefloor for 6 hours of committed motion and mental stimulation, in the hands and minds of three devoted music collectors, mind-bending selectors, and groove catalysts: Olya Smok, theories, and mFx.

All of this, embraced by a high-precision custom sound system by Wellness Berlin. A four-way bass reflex and horn design delivering deep, physical low-end, detailed midrange presence, and crisp, spatial highs. Built for clarity, warmth, and dynamic response, the system is tailored for immersive listening and full-bodied dancefloor experiences alike.
