Šouflšou + Ladislav Bonita

Šouflšou is a unique Dixieland band that has taken over from Ivan Mládek as the funniest
jazz band on the scene. Energetic and spontaneous on stage, their original Czech lyrics are so uncompromisingly playful that
they will delight the heart of every Czech language lover. Listening to them will remind you of Vodňanský, Suchý, or Plíhal, and
you will leave with the realization that jazz is not boring!

But you won't be going anywhere. Because in the second half of the evening, the band Ladislav Bonita will serve up the finest
delicacies of Czechoslovak normalization pop. Hit melodies stolen from the West, often accompanied by bizarre
Czech lyrics, which graced the airwaves thanks to the pop royalty of the time, such as Marie Rottrová, Ilona Csáková,
Helena Vondráčková, Karel Gott, Karel Zich, and others. Songs that brought at least a little color behind the Iron Curtain at the time
will now color this evening as well.
