About Sound Sessions:

Aarhus Lydforening, alongside various venues in Aarhus and Copenhagen, presents a unique opportunity for aspiring sound engineers. This project aims to cultivate a safe environment for practice, experimentation, and interaction with experienced professionals, bridging the gap between workshops and live concerts.

What to Expect:

• An introduction to venue mixers and technical setups
• Hands-on practical assignments
• A welcoming atmosphere for questions and learning
• Direct contact with local venues and professional sound engineers
• Opportunities to participate in concerts as a sound engineer

Who Is It For:

Our sessions are tailored for individuals with a foundational understanding of sound engineering, particularly young people (16–35), especially women and non-binary individuals interested in music technology. Everyone is encouraged to participate!
