Sound the Alarm! Cub Scouts at FDNY Fire Zone

Join us for a thrilling experience at the FDNY Fire Zone in Manhattan! This interactive fire-safety and learning center is designed for kids, featuring hands-on exhibits such as:

• A real fire truck 🚒
• Bunker gear for kids to try on 👨‍🚒
• Smoke-simulation experiences 🌫️
• Presentations from active and retired firefighters 🔥

Children will learn essential fire safety techniques and discover what firefighters do in an engaging, safe environment.

Event Details:

Location: FDNY Fire Zone - 61 W 48th St, New York, NY 10020

• 🚇 Take the B, D, F, or M train to 47–50 Sts–Rockefeller Center (a short walk away!)
• 🚉 Or take the N, R, or W train to 49 St, or the E train to 7 Av (just a few blocks away)

RSVP: Please respond by June 1st at 9 PM. There’s a small fee for attendance, and we need a headcount.

• Pack 611 members attend free of charge.
• Prospective families can send payments via Zelle to Troop611BSA@aol.com or pay at the door: $8 for adults (12+), $7 for kids, and $4 for seniors.

Other Details:

• Please wear class A uniforms if available for the opening flag ceremony 🇺🇸.
• A guided tour is included, so allow 15 minutes for any MTA delays.
