Sourdough 101 Workshop

Join us for an intimate beginner-level workshop where you'll dive into the world of sourdough! This hands-on experience offers a step-by-step guide through the art of sourdough baking. You'll learn about the science, food safety, modifications, and health benefits of this delicious bread.

What You'll Take Home

• Your own bread dough that you'll shape during the workshop, complete with a bread shaping basket and towel.
• A freshly baked loaf of sourdough bread, made during our practice session!
• A portion of sourdough starter to keep your baking adventures alive!

After Care

Make sure you’re ready to provide the necessary "after care" at home! Your sourdough should be refrigerated overnight. We suggest baking your loaf within 12-48 hours after the workshop. Detailed instructions will be provided for follow-up baking at home, and we're here to support you with any questions afterwards!

Payment and Cancellations

Please confirm your attendance before payment, as refunds or transfers will only be issued if we can fill your spot. You may send someone in your place if you cannot attend. If you miss out on a refund, you can still pick up your workshop materials later, but please schedule this in advance!

• Age Requirement: Individuals over 15 are welcome; younger participants must be accompanied by an adult.
• Allergy Warning: There is no gluten-free option available. If you have a gluten allergy, please refrain from attending!
• Space is Limited: We can only accommodate those accepted into the workshop, so please be considerate. No extra guests allowed.
• Attire Recommendations: Hair should be pulled back (hat or headband suggested), and wear full-length pants and close-toed, non-slip shoes. An apron is optional but recommended. Expect flour and dough mess!
