Spare Arts Volunteer Hours

Join us in sorting donated art supplies and packing craft kits for our Spare Arts Supply stations! Every month, we receive a variety of supplies and want to ensure they reach artists in need.

During this shift, you will help with:

• Sorting loose or bagged items into categories (e.g., Fiber Arts, Paint, Office Supplies)
• Freshening up supplies, such as winding yarn into balls, removing lint from fabric, or tidying up containers of colored beads.
• Packing items into pre-planned kits according to a list provided by one of our Spare Arts Leads.
• Labelling supplies and kits.

GETTING TO THE STUDIO
Our studio is located at 21-07 41st Avenue. Upon arrival, please scan the large QR code on the door, find The Collaboratory in the directory, and buzz in. Once inside, take the elevator to Floor 2 and locate us in Studio #213.

MASK REMINDER
The Collaboratory is a Masks Required space. 😷 We also have two air purifiers running during our gatherings. If you forget your mask, don’t worry—we'll have them available at the door. If you're feeling unwell or suspect COVID exposure, please stay home. Let’s keep each other safe! 😷
